Poco, a former Xiaomi sub-brand, has revealed that a new smartphone would be released in the nation later this month. On June 8, the Poco M3 Pro 5G smartphone will be released by the firm.
This was announced on the brand’s official Twitter account.
Aside from the name and launch date, the firm also disclosed that the Poco M3 Pro 5G would be sold in India via Flipkart. The event will take place on the e-commerce website just at 11:30 a.m.
The Poco M3 Pro will be the company’s first 5G phone in India, after the Poco M3 (Review), which has a starting price of Rs 10,999 in the nation. The Poco M3 Pro is expected to have a starting price of less than $15,000. This puts it in India’s inexpensive 5G sector. It will most likely compete with the Realme 8 5G and Oppo A53s 5G, based on its specifications.
Specs of the Poco M3 Pro 5G
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC is combined with up to 6GB of RAM in the Poco M3 Pro. The gadget also comes with up to 128GB of inbuilt UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.
The phone has a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and an usual brightness of 400 nits. The Poco M3 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It also runs Android 11 with the Poco-specific MIUI 12 on top.
The Poco M3 Pro has a triple-camera arrangement with a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel macro unit, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A selfie camera with an aperture of 8 MP is also housed in the dot notch on the front. The phone also has Hi-Res audio and a fingerprint scanner on the side.
